Father of democracy and also known as a global peace icon Nelson Mandela just celebrated his 94th birthday in style as the nation dedicated their 67 minutes doing something for the needy.
The world on the 18th of July was on their toes celebrating together with the icon Madiba as some communities like Soshanguve being one of the local area dedicating their precious time to the orphanage centres.
BMW Rosslyn was one of the company that dedicated their time in one of the Soshanguve orphanage centres by painting the houses and washing clothes for the children. Meanwhile the Soshanguve SAPS also patroled the area ensuring that safety comes first for the orphanages.
So as the writer,editor and senior journalist of this blog, I say lets make everyday a Mandela day by providing those in needy.
