Hawkers, taxi drivers and residents in Mabopane station were dancing to the sounds of Saints Brothers who performed songs from their second album on Saturday.
The Saints Brothers entertained the audience with their second album called Sthandwa ft Xenophia.

Lovemore Magona, lead singer said that their album was released on Thursday with some of the popular tracks like Zinduna’s from their first album that was made in 2009.

“We recorded our new tracks on Thursday with some of our most popular first album tracks.”

Without a financial boost, Magona funded the material of the band and transport from his own pocket.

They performed hit tracks like Epfeni Kababa which explain the current funeral situations that families go through after the death of a father.
Magona said that piracy threatened the album success.
“Piracy is a harmful thing because the success of our album took a good team to produce, but then someone comes from nowhere and sells our music illegally.”
The album Sthandwa ft Xenophia will be on the shelves starting from Tuesday.
At the end of November, the band will leave for Zimbabwe to perform their second album as part of their tour.
